Sunday's The Day!
It's almost time, boys and girls. This Sunday (September 28th) is the return of the famous (some would say infamous) Chico Oktoberfest! Details are below in this BLOG, or on our schedule page or on the KCHO Radio web site.

Don't miss your chance to dance to the music of our band -- none other than the world-famous, talented, versatile (not to mention modest) Chico Bavarian Band!

That's right, gang, this is where it all began. And this year will be just like it was when we started the band.

(Er, uh, well, that is, sort of...

There were 10 members in the band back then and now there's over 20...

And the Oktoberfest was held at the fairgrounds, not Manzanita Park...

And it was on a Saturday night, not a Sunday afternoon...

And we were all a bit -- no, make that a lot -- younger...)

So, OK, maybe it will be a bit different. But the important stuff will be the same: great music, great food, great beer, and a great time for attendees of all ages!

The fun starts at 3:00 pm. See you there!

Festa Italia This Weekend!
OK, so maybe I've been asleep at the switch (actually, there's no "maybe" about it...), but I failed to list Festa Italia on The Internationals™ schedule page. Well, they are playing there THIS WEEKEND! As in, TOMORROW!!! And SUNDAY!!!!

So anyway, grab your significant other and head down to downtown Monterey this weekend to see The Internationals™, not to mention a few other musicians of note. I've never been to this festival myself (I know, shame on me...), but I understand it's quite a good time.

Hey, it's a weekend of Monterey, California weather, and Italian music, food and drink. How could that be a bad thing!?!
