Music in the Park on July 29th!
The Internationals™ will perform on Thursday, July 29th (that's tomorrow, folks!) at the City of Campbell's Summer Concert Series. The music starts at 6:30 pm and runs until 8:00 pm at the Orchard City Green in downtown Campbell, CA.

Bring a lawn chair and a picnic dinner -- or support the Campbell Museum Foundation by purchasing BBQ hot dogs, polish sausages, chips, cookies, wine, beer and sodas! All are welcome. (NOTICE: they do not allow pets, so you'll have to leave Fido at home).

The Orchard City Green is located between the Campbell Library and City Hall right in downtown Campbell. Here are some relevant links:

See you there!

The Internationals™ Welcome A Guest Artist on August 27th
The renowned trumpet player for the Al Meixner Trio, Alex Meixner, will join The Internationals™ for a one night performance at Teske's Germania in downtown San Jose, CA on Friday August 27th. Alex is well known in jazz circles, and has even earned the title of "music chameleon" because of his versatility and ability to play not only jazz, but contemporary, swing, latin, pop fusion and world music styles. (Word has it that he's a fair accordion player as well!)

The downbeat at Teske's is at 6:30 pm, and music will continue throughout the evening.

If you would like more information about Alex Meixner, The Internationals™, or Teske's Germania, follow these links:

All sites are back up (finally)
After what turned out to be a full two weeks, Bavarianband.org, The Internationals.com; and SCCB.net are back up and running.

The server crash turned out to be a bit more complex to solve than originally thought. In fact, the final solution ended up being an upgrade to our server! (Yea!). All three sites are now running on an upgraded server, with some significant new features. It may take some time to be able to take advantage of these features, but look for some good things to happen to these sites over the summer months.

In the meantime, the same old sites that support out bands are back. (If you find anything missing or in error, please let me know at "fmk2 at bavarianband dot org".)

Enjoy.

Prost!
