New CBB Photo Album!
At long last (and yes, it's long overdue...), the CBB Photos Page has received a complete overhaul.
The photos area has been revamped using Jalbum software. As a result, the photos are now all organized by event, with each event's pictures stored in a separate directory.
I'm still playing with the format (referred to as Jalbum "skins"), so the look and feel of the album may change a bit as I experiment. But fear not, the photos will remain viewable!
Oh, and you'll find some additions to the photos area as well. (Hint: there are a number of pictures from a trip the band took about 7 years ago!) (...and thanks very much to Brad Horak for all those great pictures!)
If you have any pictures that you think would be a good addition to our collection, click on any of the "webmaster" links on the CBB site and let me know. Give me your opinion of the new photo pages too.
Or better yet, let everyone know what you think of the photos. Log onto the CBB Forums and share your opinion with the rest of the members.
Prost!

Ft. Mason Oktoberfest Starts Tomorrow!
We're only hours away from the best Oktoberfest on the West Coast! Oktoberfest By The Bay starts tomorrow evening at Ft. Mason in San Francisco.
The doors open Thursday, October 14th at 5:00 pm, and the entertainment will continue throughout the evening. Don't miss the great food, Spaten beer, and the Chico Bavarian Band's great music (we're very modest, too!).
And don't fret if you can't make it to Ft. Mason on Thursday, because the 'fest will run thoughout the weekend. A full schedule can be found on the Oktoberfest web site (at the link above), or on the Chico Bavarian Band schedule page.
See you at the 'fest!

'Tis the season...
...for Oktoberfest, that is! You can't twirl a frauline without running into an Oktoberfest celebration this time of year.
And this weekend is no exception. You can catch The Internationals™ this Friday and Saturday nights at Teske's Germania in San Jose.
On Sunday afternoon, "the boys" will be at J.R. Brewski's in Gilroy.
So be sure to stop by at least one of these events this weekend and have some great food, a beer or two, and maybe even a schnopps! All the while, you can listen to the great music -- heck, you might even get the urge to dance!
Oh, and don't forget that next weekend (October 14-17) is Oktoberfest by the Bay at Ft. Mason in San Francisco, featuring the Chico Bavarian Band. Check out the schedule page on the band's web site for details, or go to the official Oktoberfest by the Bay web site.
