The CBB to appear during Superbowl 2006!

Or so we hope, anyway.

In case you haven't heard, the Chico Bavarian Band was one of many groups that were filmed as part of a new Coca Cola ad that is scheduled to air during the Superbowl on February 5th.

The ad, which centers around a boy riding through and observing the culteral diversity of an American hometown parade, was filmed over a 2-day period. Day one was shot entirely in downtown San Francisco. The CBB was part of the second day of filming, which took place in and around the city of Gustine, CA. It was a long and arduous 12-hour day, but also proved to be a fascinating experience.

We have no idea whether or not we'll end up on the cutting room floor, but you can be sure that every member of the band will be watching for the ad during the Superbowl on February 5th -- no matter who's playing!

Personally, I plan to record the entire Superbowl just to make sure I don't miss it!    :-)
