The SF 'Fest Date is Set!
The 2006 date for the San Francisco Oktoberfest By The Bay has been officially announced. The event will start on October 12th.
Oktoberfest By The Bay traditionally runs on the 3rd weekend in October. However, due to the fact that the first of October is a Sunday, there was some consternation regarding whether the SF event should start on October 12th (which would include the 3rd Sunday in October) or the 19th (which is the first full weekend in October).
Well, fret no more! The SF Oktoberfest will start on Thursday, October 12th, and run through Sunday the 15th.
So start your preparations -- it's never too early to pick out a spiffy new Bavarian wardrobe for this year's celebration!
