Morgan Hill Parade on July 4th
The Chico Bavarian Band will march in the Morgan Hill July 4th Parade on... you guessed it -- July 4th!!
The Morgan Hill Parade is one of the best in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, and the CBB is looking forward to participating in this fun family event.
The event will serve essentially as a rehearsal (or perhaps, more accurately, a workout session!) for the band, in preparation for their appearance in the Munich Oktoberfest Parade and Connstatter Volksfest Parade in Stuttgart in September this year.
In case you haven't heard, the band -- along with The Internationals™ -- will be traveling to Germany and Austria this September as part of their 10-day "Oktoberfest Extravaganza 2007" tour through Bavaria. Stops will include not only the cities of Munich and Stuttgart, but also Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, and Konztanz, just to name a few. (If you would like to join the band in Europe, contact Kingsway International and ask them about signing up for the tour!)
But you can get a sneak peak of the band's marching skills right here in the SF Bay Area. If you happen to find yourself meandering through Morgan Hill, CA on the morning of July 4th, find a spot along the parade route and check us out!
